Posteromedial bowing
Clinical picture
At birth
- short tibia with bow in distal half
- calcaneovalgus foot: foot often lies with dorsum against anterior leg
Etiology
Probably caused by intrauterine fracture or malposition
Natural history
Bowing
- resolution begins at 1 year
- usually completely resolves
LLD
- tend to have static LLD 2cm
- treat with contralateral epiphysiodesis
