Urine screen

- check for and treat UTi

 

Groin, nose, axilla swabs

- for MRSA

- if positive, treat

- need 3 consecutive free swabs

 

3 x chlorhexidine preoperative showers in 8 hours

 

Admit day of surgery

- check skin for lesions
