- many microbes can be responsible

 

Types

 

Type 1 Polymicrobial

 

Type 2 Monomicrobial

 

Aetiology

 

Group A Beta Hemolytic Strep (S. pyogenes)

- most common cause monomicrobial

 

S. Aureus / MRSA

 

Vibrio
